Simple to set up and install, Easy-Trak uses a single, four element transducer to determine the range and bearing of a number of transponders attached to subsea targets. This process, known as Ultra Short Baseline or USBL, is a tried and tested method of tracking, and allows the operator to know exactly where a target is, using the minimum amount of equipment.
Straightforward USBL systems such as Easy-Trak, allow both the experienced user and the complete novice to benefit from its multi purpose capability. The transducer can be deployed easily and instantly, over the side of a vessel ( fixed or free hanging ) or through a gatevalve or moonpool; and the intuitive software installed ensures that accurate tracking can begin in minutes.
Along with its versatility, portability and ease of use, Easy-Trak's modular design gives each operator the ability to configure a system to suit their own project or application, providing a cost-effective addition to the maritime professional's inventory.
