The CODA Mosaic software module is a reliable and versatile tool for interpreting sidescan sonar data on your CODA system. This software provides a real-time display of the vessel and towfish positions during your hydrographic survey operations and displays the sidescan sonar image of the seafloor. Real-time track and survey coverage information combined with on-line image processing provides you with a powerful tool for generating a mosaiced image at any scale to interpret your sonar data and see a complete picture of your area survey.
Data in CODA soft mosaic is stored internally in the original sonar data format. This allows full manipulation of the data with no loss of data integrity. Sonar data is re-drawn each time it is displayed, allowing all processing functions to be applied or re-applied right up to the moment that the final output image is created. Further data processing can then be performed and other output images generated, as needed.
